Onboard the Cruise Ship

For the most part, the cruise was very windy when we were at sea. The water was pretty rough, too.

Adam and I usually tried to find a sheltered corner of the ship, out of the sun and the wind.

We played cribbage. I think Adam cheats, though. The only time I came close to winning, he had Sue "accidentally" spill her drink all over the cards.

When we weren't playing a rousing game of cribbage, we were enjoying tasty beverages and losing money in the casino.

Here is a picture of Heather and Sue from our first formal night.

And here is a picture of Sue and I on the same formal night.

On the right is Joven, our head waiter for the cruise. On the left is Santiago, his assistant waiter.

Sue complained that she should have ordered the chocolate cake instead of her souffle, so Adam ordered her an extra dessert.

She went on and on about how she couldn't eat another dessert, but when I tried to steal the chocolate wafer off of the cake, she almost stabbed me with her fork. She ended up taking the cake back to our room.

The half hour before dinner was "picture time." Heather and Sue dragged Adam and I to every portrait set-up, every night. This was one of the few that Sue and I liked enough to buy.

This picture was taken by some strange dude that had an obsession about Adam and I posing together. I think if he had his way, he would have cut the girls out of the picture. They thought it was a riot. The picture did come out pretty good.

This was an ice sculpture they used to make martini's with.

Here is a picture of Sue, sick in bed on the night of the Midnight Buffet.

She managed to stir up enough strength to see the buffet on Adam's recommendations that, "The butter sculptures are AMAZING!"

There were several fresh fruit sculptures.

And a really cool ice sculpture of a dragon.

It was carved from 3 separate 100 lbs blocks of ice.

And here is Adam's favorite, a butter sculpture of a unicorn.

This ice sculpture is a replica of our cruise ship, the Elation.

Four sea horse cheese sculptures holding cheese platters. McGrath would be in heaven.

More crazy fruit sculptures.

A bread and bread stick presentation.

A house made out of chocolate surrounded by many other tasty treats.

And finally, I didn't know what the hell this was, besides ugly, that is. After seeing the picture, I think it might be a candy volcano of some sort.

Our last day on the cruise, the weather was cold and rainy, so we found activities to do indoors. Heather and Sue are at the right. They are on stage taking part in a Dr. Ruth Sex Quiz. (They were eliminated by the third or fourth question).

Then we played Bingo. Heather won a $100 game. Unfortunately, so did seven other people. She had to split the pot and ended up with $15.

These freaky little stuffed animals are replicas of folded towel creatures the room stewards would leave on our beds at night. Sue was creeped out by them so much, she'd kick the crap out of them as soon as we got back from dinner each night.

Adam, Sue and I waiting for the pre-dinner show to start. It would have been nice if we always had a pre-dinner show. It seemed we missed a lot by taking the 8:30 late seating.
