Acapulco

My Dad, Brett and I took a deep sea fishing charter before our cruise started. I was the first up when we finally hooked a sail fin.

Based on stories I had heard, I was expecting to fight with this fish for 20 minutes or more. Instead, it basically swam into the boat.

Our guide (behind me) was originally from Texas. He was a pretty funny guy.

My brother got to reel in the next fish.

As you can tell by his expression, his fish put up a bit more of a fight.

The sails are a beautiful iridescent blue when they are in the water. They get dull when they dry out.

And here is Brett posing with his catch.

This picture cracks me up. This is the fish my Dad caught. I think it's a small black tuna. The Mexican guide took it from him and threw it in the bait bucket.

Here we are setting up our fish for a picture. Our guide, Wayne, is poking the brains back into Brett's fish to make it look good for the photo.

In person, our fish looked about the same size to me. I think this is a bad camera angle.
